Identify the water source
A removable bouquet can usually be transferred to a suitable vase. A fixed arrangement may have a separate container or a florist’s water-retaining base. If you cannot see how it is constructed, contact us with your order reference before watering.
Keep the finish beautiful
Protect furniture with a waterproof surface beneath the arrangement. Keep ribbons and the outside of a cardboard box dry. Avoid lifting the arrangement by flower heads or pulling stems from their support. Move a filled carrier by supporting the base.
Check, rather than flood
Follow the watering guidance included with your order. Different bases need different amounts, so there is no universal quantity to pour into every box. Check the flowers regularly and remove fading material gently where accessible.
Does a box make roses last longer?
Packaging alone does not establish vase life. Freshness, hydration and conditions in the room matter. A decorative box is a presentation choice, not a preservation treatment. Our rose care guide explains the daily checks.
